The Environmental Engineer / Scientist will be expected to assist in building the local Canberra based arm of the business and contribute to projects across the Environment Group.

Specific contributions (some or all of):

• Business development and client liaison
• Supervision and mentoring of staff
• Hydraulic modelling of urban and rural streams
• Management of rehabilitation projects, including design and construction supervision
• Wetland/fishway design
• Environmental flow investigations, catchment management planning and water sensitive urban design

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in environmental engineering / environmental science
• Technical ability in design of river and catchment rehabilitation projects, including development and implementation of solution
• A solid understanding of State and National regulatory environments
• Experience in catchment and water governance
• Team player with experience in working with multi-disciplinary teams, looking to be a team leader
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to grow the scope of service
