The successful applicant will have relevant tertiary education in environmental or civil engineering and:

• Demonstrated experience and expertise in the design and/or construction of a range of river rehabilitation solutions incorporating: erosion investigation, evaluation and control; hydrologic and hydraulic modeling; and, fish passage.
• Strong understanding of environmental flow investigations, catchment management planning and water sensitive urban design principals.
• Team player with experience in leading and working as part of multi-disciplinary teams (including geomorphologists, and riparian and aquatic ecologists) working on consulting projects;
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written);
• Strong project / task management and subcontractor management skills;
• Initiative/self motivation, innovative thinking, problem solving skills;
• Demonstrated experience in the use of HecRas, 12D, RORB, CHUTE and MUSIC will be highly regarded.
